Anthea Marie is the name. Independent woman.
Despite struggling in a world full of negativity...she stays positive.
For the past few days since resuming work, i have been more active than ever. Thursday, I met up with Regina who was here in Hong Kong for vacation and i was glad to see her even for a while…which explains why we didn’t have a lot of photos, but we had a lot to talk about and it was worth it! =] Had late dinner at the Spaghetti House in Tsuen Wan, near the Galleria. I wasn’t familiar with the place near their hotel, so I just brought her to the nearest place where we could just talk and eat.
Though going home was the tricky part cause i had to take a 16 mtr station ride PLUS a bus ride home. Beat that! hahaha =))

i miss you…and i will see you soon in 3 months =)
On friday night, we had this Surprise Party for our beloved boss, Sir Alex. Tita Edna planned this together with Sir Alex’s assistant and it went well. The party was held at Duke’s Deli iSQUARE, Tsim Sha Tsui. It was a success, no distractions. Just positive vibes and we all had fun. We managed to surprise Sir Alex! =]

(L-R) Benedict, Jenalyn, Ujjala, Yanti, Kris, Me, Arvin

(L-R) Lois, Jenalyn, Ujjala, Yanti, Kris, Me, Chloe

Here we are having our dinner, Kris(not in the picture) had the biggest appetite among us all and it’s no fair that she’s so thin despite that.

Here’s Frankie, Jasmine’s daughter. She is such a cutie ♥

After we all sang a Happy Birthday to Sir Alex, each one of us gave a small speech. And no one from the ladies gave one, so right after Tita Edna’s speech they asked Me to give mine. And good heavens! I do not know what i was saying. hahaha =))

MY UAEXCHANGE FAMILY ♥
Then on Saturday, i went to Ocean Park for this Holloween thingy. (since i do not know whats it called) I was really really tired that morning, i woke up late and still have to go to work at 9.
We arrived there around 5:30 and there was A LOT of people! Literally. I didn’t take as much picture as I wanted, I am not a fan of Horror so eventually my eyes grew tired of being vigilant on what could happen there. hahaha! =)) LOSER…

Good thing this picture isn’t clear. *Adrenaline Rush mode*

ang yabang lang =p

my first time!!!

after my 3rd attempt to a haunted house, i finally destested..i didn’t like the experience but in a way i enjoyed…because of the rides…hahahaha!! okay okay, may i liked it a little bit and i was laughing at myself for being such a baby… C’mon…Haunted House???

…and i guess this is the ONLY picture that i like from that night. I was really tired already, as you can see EXHIBIT A up there… But i liked the Hot air Balloon, there were alot more but as I’ve said earlier, I wasn’t in the mood to take pictures.

i got some goodies..OP magnet, Purple Shark and Halloween Bunny. I had fun there.. =]
LESS SLEEP means MORE FUN after all! Such a fun birthday month! ♥
—Meredith Grey (Grey’s Anatomy)
This afternoon, me and my cousin Julie watched the movie “EAT PRAY LOVE”. Now for those of you who have no idea what this book turned movie is all about, well it’s about this writer named Liz Gilbert who travels 3 countries in finding herself. She lost herself through a nasty divorce and a relationship filled with passion. and oh, she is also the writer of this book.I could only give you that information otherwise you should watch it! =) i’d give it a 7, given that Julia and Javier were HOT!
Upon watching the movie, it left me pondering, what if we were made to believe from the start that our lives should be simplified? And little did we know that, as we go through life’s journey, our so-called strategy in tackling obstacles have to evolve around a lot smart choices…choices that should be taken in vigilance…we do not want to hurt ourselves along the process do we? and then we ask, do we have a choice?
….i guess we always have a choice, we are always creating excuses not to so when things gets dirty we will always blame ourselves for not having to choose in the first place. We can’t even take responsibility for anything we do. So what’s the use right…?
I don’t know about you, but i believe that life has a way of teaching us…i guess in a very much passive way you can say… There are signs that are given to us, then there are people who may or may not help us to decide… But then it all comes down to find yourself throughout all this..Life, wherever it may lead us, eventhough as messy it may be sometimes…as long as we don’t lose sight of who we are, i am pretty sure we will do just perfectly fine =)
and don’t forget to EAT PRAY & LOVE...♥
and i know, i have to accept some facts about myself…..

my message from God =)
October 13, 1987 - my parents were two of the Happiest people on earth for having me as a blessing to them.
23 years later, I was one of the happiest girl in this planet. I might not had the “ideal” birthday celebration that i wanted, still this year was the happiest and different. Prolly because my perception has changed or whatever…
On the 12th, i asked my officemates to have dinner with me since I’m not sure whether i could take them out on another date. We had a late dinner in Mang Ambo, filipino cuisine. yummy bbq btw! :) then we were supposed to go Karaoke afterwards but then we chose to settle @ Holly Brown. We had their signature Gelato on crispy wafer. Then out of nowhere, our friend J lit a Black forest Birthday Cake from Lucullus for me!

Anyways, they sang Happy Birthday to me which made me more happy. hahah! i have a thing for a Birthday song together with a cake. i had so much fun that night though we went home already before the clock strike 12.

Thank you Jen, Arvin and J. And thanks Michelle for the call.
12mn, received a phone call from friends…THANK YOU! :)) and of course sms from dear friends of mine.
On the 13th, I started my day with a chinese Dim sum brekky from dad.

Yum!!
Then replied to some greetings online via FACEBOOK, YM, SKYPE.
I took a nap in the afternoon, i woke up late. Got ready, rushed to Church and killed time @ Sbux with Jen. I had to get something from her anyway.
Then we had dinner with the Family @ Cinta J. Good food, but sorry some dishes were overpriced.

Dad requested to sing on stage. He dedicated the song “What a wonderful world”, and i hated myself for deleting the video later that night!! >.< but before that the singer on the stage called all the celebrants to go on stage and have a shot of Tequila. LOL (i was never friends with Tequila FYI)

nagcheers pa kami. hahah
After dinner, kuya mentioned that Kuya Melvin greeted and told me to head down to the bar he was working at. So we went, and i had my first ever shot of FLAMING LAM…

and again, i made a wish and blew…

after a few more shots, we went home… As tweeted before going to bed “Already home, HAPPY and NOT drunk. Thank God” =)
On the 14th, slacking the whole day. I made pasta for lunch, and had more for dinner. Jen came to my place to bring me her gift… ICE CREAM cake from Haagen Dazs :D pure joy!
and yes, yet another wish and cake for me to blow….

for finale, i had to post a pic of me blowing… chos!
THANK YOU THANK YOU everyone for the greetings!! =) no words can describe the Happiness… For all who greeted me on my FB, salamat naman at naflood yung wall ko with all your thoughtful messages. To those who greeted me via SMS, YM and SKYPE. Maraming maraming SALAMAT!! Esp. to those who sang to me, I really appreciate it. =))
I LOVE YOU ALL! :) Thanks for sticking with me, hopefully till the end!
